Terms of Reference (TOR) for Development of YSW Social Media Strategy on CSEA, SRHR and GBV
Background
YSW is a locally-led youth-centred, feminist organisation operating at the intersection of gender, socio-economic empowerment, and integrated SRHR services. We envision a generation of young people—especially girls and young women—shaping their rights, opportunities, and futures. We achieve this by advancing equality, expanding access to sexual and reproductive health, and building sustainable livelihoods by empowering young people with knowledge, skills, agency, and opportunities.
YSW uses digital and social media platforms to share information, amplify young people’s voices, promote its programmes and campaigns, engage stakeholders, influence public discourse, and increase the visibility of its work. As the organisation continues to expand its programmes and digital engagement, there is a need for a clear, coordinated and evidence-based social media strategy.
YSW, therefore, seeks to engage a qualified consultant to develop a comprehensive social media strategy that will guide the organisation’s digital presence, content development, audience engagement, with a specific focus on ending Child Sexual Exploitation And Abuse (CSEA), promoting Sexual And Reproductive Health And Rights (SRHR), and ending Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
